Day one :
Departure
Day two:
Landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport, a red carpet welcome and shift
to the Hotel for overnight.
Day three :
After lunch take a ride to Raj Ghat, the Mahatma Gandhi memorial on the bank
of River Yamuna, visit Jama masjid built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in proximity
to the Red fort and enjoy photography. On the return back stop near Chandni
Chawk for photography, Rickshaw ride and local cuisines. After having lunch
in a city restaurant begin the New Delhi sightseeing including Qutub Minar,
Humayun Tomb, stop for a short while at Bahai Lotus Temple for photography and
drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, the castle of the Indian President, Prime Minister’s
office, Parliament House and India Gate, all in the very heart of New Delhi
and planned by none other than the gifted British architect, Edwin Lutyens and
James Baker. Make a departure from Delhi around 4 PM to arrive at Agra at about
9 PM with a brief halt on the way for meal and shift to the Taj Gateway Hotel
for overnight.
Day four :
Before dawn take a short stroll to the monument of love, Taj Mahal to view it
in early rays of sun. After lunch visit Agra Fort palaces of Emperor Akbar made
up of red sandstone and Emperor Shahjahan’s milky marble palaces. For
a brief stint visit the workshop of the traditional marble inlay artisans (Pietra
Dure) organized to witness this most unique art form. Stay overnight at the
Hotel.
Day five:
After lunch make a trip to the abandoned capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar the
great, Fatehpur Sikri. After seeing the sights like red sandstone palaces of
Mughal Emperor Akbar and the white marble mausoleum of Sufi Saint Sheikh Salim
Chistie in this captivating abandoned city take another trip to Jaipur which
is at 4 hours drive. Relax in the afternoon in your cozy hotel room or make
some outings .Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day six:
In the morning after having breakfast. Take a trip to Amber Fort and have a
ride on elephant to the hilltop palaces. From noon onward, visit the Royals
City Palace. If you have stars in eyes, visit nearby Astronomical Observatory.
Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day seven :
Start your day with breakfast and get ready for a drive of about 330 kilometers
to Jodhpur. On the path have your lunch at Neemaj Castle. Go for sightseeing
at Mehrengarh Fort. Stay overnight in Ranbank Hotel.
Day Eghit ::
Start your day with breakfast, and make a trip to the Mehrengarh Fort at the
hilltop. Brace up for a further trip of about 302 kilometers to Jaisalmer, which
is at 6 hours drive. On the onset of visit to this city check-in hotel and relax.
Enjoy your evenings at nearby Sam village having dinner on the sand dunes while
sun is setting. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day nine :
After lunch visit one of the largest desert fort ; the Jaisalmer Fort also known
as ‘Sonar Quila’ constructed by Raja Jaisal. Among other tourist
attractions are the famous Havelis of Patwon, Salim Singh and Nathmal, The Gaddi
Sagar Lake and Royal Chattariyan cenotaphs. Stay overnight at Heritage Inn.
Day ten:
After breakfast, get ready for a 6 hours drive. Drive about 290 kilometers or
180 miles to reach Rohetgarh Fort. On reaching Rohetgarh relax. If you are not
tired enough, visit the heritage fort. You can even go for walking in the village.
Stay overnight at Rohetgarh Fort.
Day eleven:
Take your breakfast at Rohetgarh and drive for Ranakpur. After reaching Ranakpur
take your lunch at Maharani Bagh hotel in Ranakpur. Start sightseeing of the
famous temples around; Chautrmukh Jain temple and other smaller Jain and Hindu
temple in a single complex.
Drive for 90 kilometers or 56 miles to reach the city of lakes and palaces;
Udaipur. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day twelve:
After breakfast visit the majestic City Palace of the Sisodia rulers Maharanas.
The famous Jagdish Temple is just outside its main gate. Enjoy your afternoon
visiting the Jag Mandir Island Palace, boating in the Pichola Lake. Stay overnight
in Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel.
Day thirteen:
Start your day with breakfast and drive about 5 hours to reach the holy city
of Pushkar about 250 km (155 miles) from Udaipur. Pushkar is known for its world
famous Pushkar Fair, most colorful folk fair of the world at the pilgrim town
of Pushkar. Also visit the sacred Brahma Temple. Stay overnight in Pushkar Palace
Hotel.
Day fourteen:
Go for a daylong visit to the magnificent tribal fair grounds and the temples
of Hindu faith along the Pushkar Lake. Stay overnight in the hotel
Day fifteen:
After taking your breakfast in Pushkar drive for 4 hours (170km or 106miles)
to Samode Palace located in the Samode villagewhich is only at 42 km north-west
of Jaipur. Have some lunch and relaxation in the afternoon and rediscover the
Fresco Paintings of the Palace and walk the nearby village.
Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day sixteen:
In the morning have your lunch in the hotel and drive for 5 hours (240km or
150 miles ) to India’s capital city Delhi, where you will get farewell
dinner and subsequent transfer to the Indira Gandhi International Airport to
board the flight to back home
