Day 1 :
Drive down from Gangotri to Mala (1478 m). The actual trek starts here, after
crossing the river Bhagirathi.
Day 2 :
Trek 5 kms to Saurikigad (1218 m). This trek is along an even surface.
Day 3 :
Trek 10 kms uphill to Belak (2439 m).
Day 4 :
Trek 14 kms downhill through dense forests, to Budha Kedar (1524m).
Day 5 :
Gangotri Trekking Tours, Trek 26 kms uphill through terraced fields, and idyllic
villages to Panwali (3963 m). The 'bugyals' (alpine meadows) along this trek,
are simply enchanting.
Day 6 :
Trek 14 kms downhill to Sonprayag (1829 m).

Trek 19 kms uphill to Kedarnath (3583 m).sGangnani: Further up on way to Gangotri about 26 kms from Maneri is the hot
water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the Kund called
