Day 1:Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi by any convenient
flight. Meet upon arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Note : Check-in time at the hotel
is 12 Noon. If you arrive early morning, the accommodation will be acquired
from previous night
Day 2: Delhi
Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the full day tour of
Old and New Delhi in the afternoon. Old Delhi was an ancient walled city.
Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra
to Delhi. Shahjahan possessed an exquisite talent, especially in architecture,
and created the seventh city of Delhi. This process brought about a phase
of Delhi's glorious renaissance. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent
Fort, and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shahjahan's symbol of
power and elegance, built behind sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore
Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually narrow avenue heading west from
the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded
bazaars. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi; Jama
Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and
colorful market of the old city. Chandni Chowk was the commercial center
of Delhi in the old time and you will see it come alive in the morning
as the trading day starts.
New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's - it's a
city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green gardens.
In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta
to Delhi after the revolt of 1857. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker,
set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's which is often know
as Lutyen's city. New Delhi the eight city was designed as an "Imperial
City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues
punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow
pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have
the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947.
You shall also visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and
Qutub Minar. Your driver shall take you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath,
past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. Also visit the local
Bahai Temple {Lotus Temple}.

Day 3:
Delhi / Agra (210 kms & 04-05 hours.)
After the breakfast at the Hotel, drive towards Agra. En-route hault
to visit the famous tomb of Akbar "Sikandra" and continue journey towards
Agra, Check in a hotel to grab some refreshment and relax for a while before
continuing the Agra tour.
Agra was the capital of the great Mughal Empire, during 16- 17 century. This
period saw the city became a leading centre of art, science, commerce, and culture.
References of the origin of this magnificent city are found in Mahabharata, however
Sikandar Lodhi founded the modern city of Agra. Later Akbar's grandfather Babur
stayed here for some years but the splendid of Agra heritage was built by Akbar.
The short golden age of Agra came to an end with the seventeenth century reign
of Shahjahan, mastermind of the unforgettable Taj Mahal.
Afternoon half day sightseeing of the Agra city, visit Agra Fort, Idmad-Ud-Dola
{Baby Taj Mahal.} Evening visit the world famous monument of love the Taj Mahal
during sunset.

Day 4:
Agra / Ranthambore (300 KMS & 06-07 HOURS)
After breakfast we shall drive towards Ranthambore. On the way you shall visit
Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar
as his capital. Ponder the mysterious desertion of this capital city that was
dramatically abandoned within few years after it was built. It was a veritable
fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are still in a pristine condition. It is not
difficult to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its
grandeur. The courtyard of Sul- I -Kul built by Akbar where scholars from different
religion and philosophy sat with the Mughal ulema and debated on various issues
Afterwards continue drive to Ranthambore. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 5:
In Ranthambore
Morning & afternoon amusement drives in Ranthambore National Park by open
hood canter bus.

Day 6:
Ranthambore / Jaipur. 200 KMS & 04-05 HOURS
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Jaipur, upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon indulge in some independent activities. Evening drive to ChokiDhani
Village Resort, that is approx. 40 Km from Jaipur. Enjoy special Rajasthani Dinner
at ChokiDhani, afterwards return back to hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur
After breakfast depart for a half-day excursion to Amber Fort.
11 Kms. from Jaipur, Amber Fort is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture
with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort
on the back of a gaily-caparisoned elephant, true to the style of the Maharajas
of the past. The interior of the fort has various royal halls decorated with
intricate ivory, mirror, and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings.
As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure, you will feel the
history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered. After
your visit, return to the hotel or to a city restaurant, where you can relax
or enjoy your lunch.
Venture back to tour Jaipur. This afternoon you shall visit the City Palace Museum
where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art.
The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets,
an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle
scenes and processions, also visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar (an accurate
observatory built in 1726 AD). Also includes a photo visit at the Hawa Mahal
(Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade
and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes, and spires. Evening we
shall drive to ChawkiDhani Village resort for special Rajasthani Dinner and return
back to the hotel.

Day 8:
Jaipur / Delhi
/ Departure After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in
Delhi transfer to airport to take flight for onwards destination.
