Green Tourism
The impact of tourism on the environment is an important concern of ours. At NEI we take every measure possible to ensure that the delicate eco-systems which we travel through are disrupted as little as possible. We use environmentally-friendly fuel stoves instead of wood fires and toilet tents are provided on all our treks. Small groups ensure that waste is kept to a minimum.
Equipment & Food
We spare no effort in making trekking as comfortable as possible. Food plays an important part of this, and we will provide you with an extensive menu of well-balanced, mouth-watering dishes. We are known troughout the Himalaya for our travelling equipment : spacious alpine tents, thick mattresses and extensive dinning facilities (dining tent, tables and chairs).
A Typical Trekking Day
Begins with early morning tea served in your tent. Hot water will be supplied to allow you to wash properly and this is followed by a hot breakfast. While our staff strike camp, you will begin walking in the cool morning air. Lunch will be served after about three to four hours walking. We always aim to reach the campsite in the early afternoon and as the camp is pitched you will be served with tea or coffee. The rest of the time is yours to explore, sit, read, chat, as you wish, before evening meal is served around the camp fire.
We believe that after a day spent trekking, it is important to provide the very best food which can be produced outside a fully equipped mobile kitchen therefore, on every trek we aim to provide a variety of cuisines and many surprising and nourishing dishes.

Our dedicated and reliable team both at management and operation are well qualified and can tackle any challenge. Transport
In the Himalayas we use Gypsy Jeeps, Tata Sumo Jeeps and Mahindra Jeeps. In plains we use luxury Air Conditioners Coaches, Deluxe Ambassador and Contessa Cars.
