Day 01 : Arrival and Delhi Sightseeing
After landing at Delhi airport you will receive ceremonial welcome by our
representative and subsequent transfer to hotel.In the afternoon go for the
sightseeing tour of Delhi. The main tourist attractions include Red Fort,
Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid. Humayun's Tomb, India gate, Parliament area, Birla
Temple, Qutab Minar and Raj Ghat (Gandhi memorial). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Kullu - Manali
Arrive at the Delhi Airport to board the flight for Kullu. After landing at
Bhuntar Airport drive to Manali hill station, located in the lap of magnificent
Himalayas. The Kullu valley is famous for its incredibly scenic landscape.
Located on the northern part of the Kullu Valley, Manali is highly admird
by tourists as a trekking point. The ice-capped Himalayan hills and the Beas
River in perspective paint a beautiful picture. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Jispa
Drive through the Rohtang Pass to reach Jispa. Enjoy an incredibly scenic
view of the beautiful valley with the winding Chandra River. Go through a
trekking experience by hiking to the hillside at Keylong, a picturesque village
on the India -China/Tibet trade route. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Sarchu
Pass through the villages of Darcha, Baralacha, Darcha-Sumdo and Bhagsu to
reach the Sarchu plains located at a height of 3900 meters. Venture out for
a trekking trip to enjoy the exciting adventure attached with the sharp climb
on the lofty peaks. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Leh
Make an excursion through the Sarchu plateau to reach at the foot of Lachungla.
Further drive towards the Moore plains at an altitude of 4,200 metres, the
greatest height in the Tibetan plateau. Further drive to Tanglangla to catch
glimpses of the Zanskar range. After that visit the Ladakhi hamlet and Gya.
Theses places are very near to Indus River.
Day 06 : Leh
The first-half of the sixth day is scheduled for leisure and other enjoying
activities of your choice. From afternoon onward go for the city sightseeing
of tourist attractions like Spituk, Phyang Monasteries and Shankar Gompa.
Situated on the top of a hill, the Spituk (15th century) monastery holds an
incredibly scenic view of the Indus Valley. The Shankar Gompa established
by the first incarnation of Skyabje Bakula (the head monk of Spituk) is an
important wing of the Spituk Monastery. Evenings are scheduled for a visit
of Leh.
Day 07 : Leh
Just after arrival at Leh, go for a day long trip to Shey, Thikse and Hemis
Monasteries. The Shey Gompa is famous for its 7.5 meter high gold plated copper
statue of Lord Buddha.
Day 08 : Delhi
From Leh board the flight for Delhi. On landing at Delhi airport you will
get assistance from our representatives in boarding flight for your next destination.
