Day 01: Arrive Delhi
When you arrive at the Delhi Airport you will be cordially received by our representative and your transfer to the hotel will be arranged. Freshen up and relax.Delhi, capital of India, enchants anyone who comes to this metropolis with its perfect harmony between old world charm as well as modernity.After lunch we will go on a city tour . You will visit India Gate, a World War I memorial. See the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, residence of the President of India and the Parliament House on your way. Then we will visit Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayn Temple and Humayun's Tomb and Taj Mahal . Have dinner at the hotel and night is spent at the hotel.
Day 02 :Delhi / Peharsar
Today have an early breakfast and then we will drive to Peharsar. Here you will visit Chandra Mahal Haveli, an ancient mansion nestled amidst traditional Rajasthani village. In the evening take an exciting tour of the village . Here you will visit a local school as well. Night is spent at the hotel.
Day 03 :Peharsar / Karauli
Today on 3rd day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan , after breakfast we will drive to Karauli. This is a princely State in Rajasthan. In the afternoon we will visit the City Palace in Karauli. In the evening we will visit the vibrant market here.
Day 04 :Karauli / Gwalior
In the morning we will drive to Gwalior. When you will arrive here check in at the hotel . Relax for a while and in the afternoon we will for sightseeing of the place. Here you will visit the Fort, temples and the tomb of Mohammed Ghaus II.
Day 05 :Gwalior / Shivpuri
On 5th day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan you will visit Shivpuri, an animal reserve. This was the former summer residence and hunting area of the Maharaja of Gwalior. Here you will find animals in natural environs. Return to the hotel ,take your dinner and spend night at the hotel.
Day 06 :Shivpuri/Kota
Today take an early breakfast and then we will drive to Kota. When you arrive here check-in at the hotel. Here you will visit the City Palace and there is also a small museum where the private collection of the king is exhibited. Night is spent at the hotel.
Day 07 :Kota / Ravla Khempur
Today you will visit Ravla Khemar, which is a small village located 50 km from Udaipur. Here a Heritage Hotel is also housed.
Day 08 :Ravla Khempur
Ravla Khempur is noted for its historical charm and is surrounded by picturesque natural beauty. The place is surely going to charm you with high terraces, courtyards,lush gardens, domes etc. which takes you to the day of the bygone era. The Khempur village is located on one side of the Ravla. It comprises of tiny houses and shops, and shaded pavilions where the villagers gather . The whole day is spent in touring this place and enjoying the rustic ambience as well as natural surroundings.
Day 09 :Ravla Khempur / Dungarpur
The Heritage Tour of Rajasthan is surely an enchanting experience for those who travel to Rajasthan. Today in the morning we will drive to Dungarpur, a small town ensconced in the Aravalli hills. Here you will visit the 19th century Udai Bilas Palace which was the former Royal Residence. Then go to see the serene Gaibsagar Lake. After lunch you will go to the old palace where you will find vibrant frescoes in various hues as well as intricate miniature paintings, glass and mirror inlay work. Next we will ascend to the top of the hill from where you can view the breathtaking sun set over the hills.
Day 10 :Dungarpur / Udaipur
Today we depart for Udaipur in the morning. Udaipur is also called the Venice of the east as well as the city of lakes. You can spend the day in leisure or touring the nearby places.
Day 11 :Udaipur
Udaipur offers a fascinating experience and this ancient city has seen hundred years of history. This city offers you pristine lakes, temples and fountains which are encircled by hills. Here the prime attraction is the Lake Palace on Jag Niwas Island nestled in the middle of Pichola Lakes . On the 11th day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan ,after breakfast we will visit Kumbhalgarh, situated in the foothills of the Aravalli ranges. This is a 15th century imposing fortress constructed by Maharana Kumbha and this monument stands as a vivid reminder of the glorious past. Here there is a 36 km long wall , seven majestic gates and seven ramparts surrounding the fort. Next you will visit the City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids. Night is spent at the hotel.
Day 12 :Udaipur / Jodhpur
Today the morning is left free for relaxation and later in the day we will drive to Jodhpur via Ranakpur. When you reach Ranakpur go and visit the splendid Jain Temples. Then we will proceed to Jodhpur, the blue city. When you arrive here you will check in at hotel. Spend night here in Jodhpur.
Day 13 :Jodhpur / Deogarh
Today on 13th day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan we will go to Deogarh. Here there is the Deogarh Castle perched on a hillock and surrounded by the town. This castle dates back to 1670 AD and was built by Rawat Dwarkadas Ji of the Siaodia Dynasty. You will spend the night in Deogarh Castle.
Day 14 :Deogarh / Pushkar
You will leave Deogarh for Pushkar today. Pushkar is a pilgrimage town with lakes and more than 400 temples. Here in October/November a cattle fair is organized just ten days after Diwali, which attract large number of tourists as well as pilgrims.
Day 15 :Pushkar / Jaipur
Today from Pushkar we will drive to the Pink City, Jaipur which is famous for
palaces and forts. This is excellently planned city with broad straight lanes
in a grid network. Here you will find the Amber Fort and Palace which can be
reached on an elephant's back. Here in the fort you will find Sheesh Mahal (hall
of mirrors), where even a single lighted match illuminates the whole palace.
There are other marble palaces also here.
Day 16 :Jaipur
16th day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan in the morning you will do a city tour of Jaipur the capital city of Rajasthan . You will visit the Janter Mantar Observatory, a brainchild of the astronomer King Raja Sawai Jai Singh. Here there are giant astronomical instruments. Then visit the palace of winds , the Hawa Mahal . Return to the hotel ,have your lunch. In the afternoon we will go to Amber Fort and Palace, which depicts marvelous Rajput architecture. When you reach the Amber fort after an exciting ride on an elephant you will get a panoramic view of the pristine surroundings . There is a picturesque lake where the reflection of the fort's ramparts and terraces present a breathtaking spectacle. Return back to the hotel and spend the night there.
Day 17 :Jaipur / Delhi
Enjoy journey by road from Jaipur to Delhi. When you arrive at Delhi we will arrange your transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon relax at the hotel . Do some sightseeing in Delhi or go for shopping in the vibrant markets and malls here
Day 18 :Delhi
On the last day of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan your transfer to Indira Gandhi International Airport so that you can catch a flight for your return journey.
