Day 1: Saturday - Delhi/Alwar/Sariska
The grand odyssey starts from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station,which is considered as the base for all the journeys undertaken by the Fairy Queen. The train departs for Alwar,which is the gateway of Rajasthan. The guests have to arrive at the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station to board the Fairy Queen, which leaves the station at 10.00 hrs. As you begin your journey, you will witness the wide expanse of landscape and travel in ultimate comfort. You will be served some delicious snacks after you board the train. As you enjoy your first hand experience,you will be later served your lunch.
The journey from Delhi to Alwar takes almost 8 hours and you will arrive at the Alwar Station at 16.00 hrs. As you arrive at this historic city of Rajasthan,you will receive a warm welcome in Rajasthani style. You will be served some favorite native drinks at Alwar. After having some refreshments you will depart from Alwar Railway Station by A/c Bus at around 16.20 hrs. The bus will depart for Sariska which does allow you to enjoy the bus ride through the picturesque hamlets and environments.
While you arrive at Sariska, your accommodation arrangement will be made in the renowned Hotel Sariska Palace. The moment you check inside this luxury hotel, you will be given traditional welcome. The hospitable reception of the hotel is followed by a host of cultural programs. The guests will spend a nice evening watching some wonderful performances of the local artists. Along with sheer amusement,you will also be provided a grand dinner in this ethnically designed hotel. This is also one of the sweetest part of your short tour by Fairy Queen. You will surely enjoy the dinner at the hotel, which will be served at 1930 hrs. The perfect way to relax and let your tired body lay down is to sleep in the cozy rooms of Hotel Sariska Palace.
Day 2 :Sunday - Sariska/Alwar/Delhi
After spending some quality time on the first day of the tour,gear yourself up for some more extravagance and undiluted experience. You will be taken to the Aravalis which has a peerless beauty of is own. You can look forward to have an excellent experience. The guests will be taken to the 800-sq km of protected land at Sariska National Park in the early morning. The travel to Sariska by Fairy Queen is a pure delight for the tourists. As the train travels through the surrounding vegetation and natural beauty the visitors will not be deprived from the enigmatic charm.
The Sariska National Park is inhabited by tiger, Nilgai, deer, wild boar, partridges, fox, sambar, gaur, hyena, chital, and the four-horned antelope. You will have a wonderful India Wildlife Tour as you step into this unrestrained wilderness. In your two day traveling on Fairy Queen this will be a rare adventurous experience. You will undertake a jeep safari to the park early in the morning at 0630 hrs. After having heart fill wildlife adventure,you have to return to the Sariska Palace. The guest will have a nice and relaxing time in this luxury accommodation. The guests will have ample scope for refreshment and enjoy the breakfast, which will be served at 0930 hrs.
After having some quality leisure you will be taken back to the Always railway station by an air-conditioning bus. The bus departs for the station at 1200 hrs. this will be the last bus ride in your whole tour on Fairy Queen. The bus will reach you at the station at 12:45 hrs. on your return to the station you will again have the ecstasy of riding on the Fairy Queen. The time to bid farewell to Sariska and move towards Alwar. The train arrives at the station at 1300 hrs. You will be served some delectable dishes for lunch at 1330 hrs. At 1600 hrs. you will have light refreshments on board. The Fairy Queen declares the end of its exciting journey as it arrives at Delhi Cantonment Railway Station, at 1845 hrs. The journey will be remembered by you for a long time.
