Day 01 : Chennai
Arrive in Chennai and transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing tour covering Museum, Snake Park, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Marina Beach and Santhome Basilica. Overnight Hotel Ambassador Pallava in Chennai.

Day 02 : Chennai- Kancheepuram- Mammallapuram
Full day tour to Kancheepuram and Mammallpuram. In Kanchipuram We will visit Kailasanathar and Vaikunda Perumal Temple. It is here the first typical South Indian type of Temple Architecture started. Also visit the Silk Weaving Centers and Rice processing mills In Mamallapuram (the Seat ofPower of the Pallava Dynasty) we will visit The Bass relief of Arjuna's Penance, the Five Rathas dedicated to the five Pandava brothers ofMahabarath fame" Craftsmen centers and Shore temple. Overnight Hotel GRT Temple Bay Resort in Mammallapuram.

Day 03 : Mammailapuram - Pondicherry
Drive to Pondicherry and check into hotel. Later visit Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Matri Mandir,a beautifully designed hall for meditation. Overnight Hotel Ananda Inn in Pondicherry .

Day 04 : Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Thanjavur
Drive to Pondicherry and check into hotel. Later visit Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Matri Mandir,a beautifully designed hall for meditation. Overnight Hotel Ananda Inn in Pondicherry .

Day 05 : Thanjavur-Trichy
Visit to the Brihadeeshwara Temple also known as the Big Temple. Built by the Great Raja Raja Chola, this temple is again an architectural Masterpiece. Also visit the Tanjore Art Gallery and Saraswathi Mahal Library. Later drive to Trichy and check into hotel. Overnight Hotel Sangam in Trichy.

Day 06 : Trichy -Madurai
Visit to the famous Lord Ranganathaswami Temple at Srirangam. This temple has the tallest Gopuram (Tower) in the world for a typical South Indian temple. Also visit the Rock fort Temple better known as Uchhipillayar Koil. From here one can have a bird's eye view of Trichy City. Later in the evening drive to Madurai. Overnight Hotel Sangam in Madurai.

Day 07 : Madurai
Visit the most famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam, Gandhi Museum and Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal for Sound & Light show which relates the story of the Tamil epic, Silappathikaram, and the history of the Nayaks. Overnight Hotel Sangam in Madurai.

Day 08 : Madurai - Thekkad
Drive to Thekkady and upon arrival check into hotel. Later visit Periyar Game Sanctuary by the Forest Department's motorized boat. Overnight Hotel Ambadi in Thekkady.

Day 09 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
Drive to Kumarakom (which is an ideal place for backwater cruises). Upon arrival board the waiting Houseboat. Cruise till twilight getting Into smaller canals and seeing some interesting villages. Overnight at the Houseboat.

Day 10 : Allepey - Trivandrum -Kovalam
After breakfast at the Houseboat, disembark at Allepey. Later proceed to Kovalam via Trivandrum visiting Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple, Veli Tourist Village, Sree Chithira Art Gallery. Overnight Hotel Uday Samudra in Kovalam.

Day 11 : Kovalam - Kochi
Drive to Kochi and upon arrival check into hotel. Later in the evening witness a Katha Kali Dance show. Overnight Hotel Wyte Fort in Kochi.

Day 12 : Kochi
Half-a-day sightseeing tour covering Jewish Synagogue constructed in 1568, Dutch Palace with its wonderful Murals depicting the entire story of Ramayana and Mahabharata on its wall, St.Francis Church and Chinese fishing net. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight Hotel Wyte Fort in Kochi.

Day 13 : Kochi
Departure transfer to the board flight for onward destination.
