Day 01 : Chennai
Arrival Chennai and transfer to hotel. Later half a day city tour. Overnight Hotel in Chennai.
Day 02 : Chennai - Mamallapuram (60 km - 3.5 hrs. visit included)
A.M.: Drive to Mamallapuram. En route visit Sculptor's village
at Cholamandalam.
P.M. : Visit to the fascinating shore temple, Krishna Mandapam, Arjuna's
Penance, Varaha Mandapam and other attractions of this 8th century AD stone
temple. Overnight hotel in Mamallapuram
Day 03 : Mamallapuram
A.M.: Visit to the five Pagodas (Rathas) dedicated to the Pancha
Pandavas of Mahabharat fame.
P.M : Drive to Pondichery (110 km - 2.5 hrs) Overnight hotel
in Pondichery.
Day 04 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur
A.M. : Visit to the Matri Mandir - Hall for Meditation.
P.M. : Drive to Thanjavur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight
hotel in Thanjavur
Day 05 : Thanjavur
A.M. : Visit to the very famous great temple - Brihadeswar
temple. Also visit the center for making Veena - an string instrument.
P.M. : Visit to the Gangai Konda Cholapuram temple. Overnight
hotel in Thanjavur.
Day 06 : Thanjavur - Srirangam - Trichy - Mysore
Drive to Srirangam (60 kms - 2 hrs). Visit the Ranganathan Swami Temple which has the tallest Gopuram in the world for a typical south Indian type of temple architecture. Later in the evening drive to the Trichy railway station to board the train for Mysore at 20:50 hrs. Overnight aboard the Thanjavur Mysore express.
Day 07 : Mysore
Arrive Mysore in the morning at about 9.30 hrs. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Later in the evening visit to the Brindavan Garden. Overnight hotel in Mysore
Day 08 : Mysore - Hassan
A.M. : After breakfast check out of hotel. Visit the Magnificent Mysore Maharaja's palace.
P.M. : Drive to Hassan (120 kms - 5 hrs). Enroute visit Srirangapatnam Tipu Sultan's 18th century summer palace. Overnight hotel in Hassan
Day 09 : Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore
A.M. : Excursion to the 11th century temple of Belur and Halebid.
P.M. : Drive to Bangalore (222 kms 6 hrs) via Shravanabelegola. Overnight
hotel in Bangalore
Day 10 : Bangalore
A.M.: City tour of Bangalore.
P.M.: Free for shopping. Overnight hotel in Bangalore
Day 11 : Bangalore - Chennai - Bhubaneswar
A.M.: Transfer to airport to board flight for Chennai. After
arrival in Chennai wait in transit and board flight for Bhubaneswar.

P.M.: Arrive Bhubaneswar and transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel in
Bhubaneswar.
Day 12 : Puri
Full day free on the beach to relax and unwind. Overnight hotel in Puri.
Day 13 : Puri - Bhubaneswar - Chennai
A.M.: Transfer to Bhubaneswar airport (60 kms 1.5 hrs) for
connecting flight to Chennai. Enroute visit Raghurajpur artisan village.
P.M.: Arrive Chennai.
