is only a short walk through forest to the Residence of His Holiness the
Dalai Lama.

with thatched roofing and mud-plaster walls, set in terraced natural garden
with stone paved walkways, the garden is beautifully restored by its
charming owner and his family, growing exotic orchids, firns and flowering

Mussoorie One of the oldest buildings
of Mussoorie - originally a part of the Christ Church. It was built in 1836
and later became a school, before being a summer retreat of the royal family
of Kasmanda in 1915. A beautiful palace, with lovely gardens and rooms with
colonial furniture.

NALAGARH FORT-
Nalagarh It was built in 1421 and is
owned and run by the Raja of Nalagarh. All 15 rooms are beautifully
decorated with fine views of Shivalik hills.
JUDGES COURT -
Pragpur, Kangra Built as gift for
Justice Sir Jai Lal - wonderfully decorated with colonial ambiance. It is
set in fruit orchards and facing the Dauladhar mountain range.

Darjeeling In the hills of
Darjeeling, overlooked by the Kanchenjunga mountain range, lies a
